It was a cool and windy wedding day in Milwaukee with plenty of sunshine. After 3 years together, this adventurous couple (finally) are becoming Mr & Mrs! We started the day at Sevva Salon in Milwaukee’s Third Ward where the ladies were enjoying getting pampered and the air was full of excitement! We headed over to the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel where I found a stunning beaded wedding dress paired with equally stunning Badgley Mishka heels. I became even more excited for the events that were about to unfold. The room was drenched in gorgeous window light as Cindy got dressed and I knew we had to take full advantage of the lighting and show off her curves in that dress!

We were off to the church where we found Dave looking dapper in his Express suit and having fun with the boys. In their separate rooms they both fought back the tears as they read their letters to one another. I then fought back my own tears as the church doors opened and I saw the look on Dave’s face as he saw his bride for the first time, heart melting!! A beautiful and heartfelt ceremony that celebrated the joining of two cultures followed and then we were off to spread that joy throughout downtown Milwaukee.

Cindy and Dave were surrounded by a energetic, fun and loving wedding party who made our time together a blast. As the wind blew Cindy’s veil around I caught Dave staring at her with total adoration. It was then that I realized how truly lucky these two were. Sure they have adoring families and incredible friends, but what they care about most in the world is loving and being loved. It was an honor photographing that love between to incredibly sweet people.

Family and guests had a blast during cocktail hour exploring the aquarium at Discovery World. Jamie with Bartolotta’s did an amazing job as usual with keeping the mouth watering food coming and the drinks flowing. When I entered the Pilot House I was blown away at the stunning floral displays. I noticed the purple orchid garland on the head table and I squealed with excitement, I knew then Cindy was my secret soul sister because I had the same orchids in my own wedding bouquet! And then there was that floral chandelier over the dance floor, I mean talk about a WOW factor, Impressions by Esther really outdid herself!  The evening was filled with sweet speeches, laughter and tears of joy. Cindy and Dave surprised us with a stellar choreographed first dance (seriously I can not wait to see the video from Aria Films!) Sound by Design kept the dance floor packed with great tunes and that uplighting…. Marquette alumni really know how to party!! I took Cindy and Dave out on the balcony at sunset to enjoy a little private quiet time together while getting in some night shots of that Milwaukee skyline view!

I hope these photos tell the story of their wedding day, a day full of magic, emotions and love. I hope they experience all those feelings again every time they look through them. ????
